  2. A pump station under construction beside an open water channel, with a bank of six pumps and galvanised suction pipes feeding a common delivery manifold, and workers commissioning the units

Civil engineering for developments and the infrastructure around them: site grading, earthworks and pavement design for roads, yards and parking areas, including rigid pavement works; storm water drainage and flood protection; water supply, sewer reticulation and sanitation.

    • Roads, pavements, hardstands and external works
    • Drainage, flood protection and river protection

  3. A wide tailings storage facility basin fully lined with geomembrane, with three workers kneeling on the liner in the middle distance and forested hills on the horizon

A large share of TEKNICON’s work is in the mining and water sectors: tailings storage facilities (TSF) and their auxiliary infrastructure, water dams, irrigation, and the training of water courses — covering design, design review, construction supervision and structural audits.

  4. Two engineers in yellow high-visibility vests, one printed Teknicon Ltd, taking notes on a clipboard during a route survey in open bush country

The front end of a commission: establishing whether and how a project can be built, then designing it to the point where it can be priced and tendered. TEKNICON carries assignments from feasibility study through concept, preliminary and detailed design to the preparation of tender documents.
