Who we are

This website is published by TEKNICON LTD, Natai Plaza, 17 Coca Cola Road, Mikocheni Light Industrial Area, P. O. Box 31653, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. TEKNICON LTD is responsible for personal information collected through it.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us: when you send an enquiry through the contact form, your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, subject and message; and when you email us, the contents of that email.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and there is no account or login on this website.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, to prepare a proposal or discuss a project. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing mailing lists.

Services that handle it

Enquiries sent through the contact form are delivered to our mailbox by a third-party form-handling service.

The contact page shows a Google Maps map of our office, and the website loads its typeface from Google Fonts. When these load, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, which it handles under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Google Maps may set cookies when the map on the contact page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with the enquiry and any work that follows from it, and longer only where the law requires us to.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@teknicon.co.tz.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
